Cuan Mhuire is the main provider of treatment for alcohol and drug addicition for Ireland and North of Ireland. Around 2500 people are treated for addiction in their centers every year. they also provide a 24 hour service , 7 days a week.
You can obtain more information on their website www.cuanmhuire.ie. They visited our school on the 22nd of November and they gave talks to the T.Y.’s, L.C.A.’s, 6th years and 3rd years on the effects of alcohal and substance abuse on their’s and others lives.

U17 SCHEDULE
* Teusday nov 7th at 7pm we had a beep test to see how fit we were in the school sports hall.
*Sunday nov 12th at 3pm we had a training session in Ballingarry.
*Wednesday nov 15th we put out the u17 team in the senior match against Bruff in Drom.
*Sunday 19th training in Ballingarry
*Wednesday 22nd challenge match versus Thurles CBS in Ballingarry. Final score Ballingarry 4:15 to Thurles 4:17
*Monday 4th Dec challenge match versus Heywood CC which we lost by a narrow score line..............

FETHARD -v- ROSCREA We played a strong Roscrea team. But we ran out 14 nill winners with trys coming from Michael power and Damo Barry both converted by Shane Kavanagh. John Maroney, Colm Dunne and Stuart Broderick also had great games.
FETHARD -v- GALBALLY
We played Galbally Sunday morning last in atrocious conditions,with gale force winds and torrential rain. We were up against a strong Galbally side. But in the end we ran out 15 nill winners with trys coming from Colm Dunne, Shane Kavanagh and John Maroney. Tine Kelly and Keelan O Neil both had good games.
TRANING
All new players are welcome. Traning every Tuesday and Friday evening At 8 o clock for 14s,16s and 18s. Traning for 8s,10s and 12s at 7 every friday.
